A neighborhood café and wine bar in Kirkland — where diverse cuisines come together around the table. Wake up with espresso, linger over pasta, wind down with a glass of our house red.
Mia opened in 2024 with a simple idea — that a Tuesday brunch and a Saturday wine night belong under the same roof. Our menu walks the line between an Italian nonna's kitchen and an American diner: pancakes drizzled with dark chocolate, mac and cheese plated with care, bruschetta that earns the bottle next to it.
We pour Washington wines from neighbors in the Yakima Valley — including our own house blends, Mi Casa and Su Casa, named for the friends who feel at home at our bar.
Two house wines under the Mia label, a working list of everyday pours, and a cellar of small Washington producers — most of it open by the glass or the bottle. Light or bold, friend or stranger, there's one on the bar with your name on it.
Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec — dark fruit and just enough structure.
Carménère, Petit Verdot, and Malbec — deeper, rounder, soft on the finish. The Wednesday pour.
A small trio, a quiet room, a long pour. Seating from 5:30, music at 6. Reservations recommended — we keep it intimate so the saxophone can do its work.
A few frames from the dining room and the line. We post the rest on Instagram —@miacafeandwinebar.
House cheddar cream, crispy bacon, breadcrumb crust.
House cream sauce, garlic mash, grilled asparagus.
Grape tomatoes, basil, balsamic, on crostini.
The bar seats eight. The kitchen is open. If you’re already in the neighborhood, just come by — we’ll find you a seat.
